Here is the journey of my 1977 MTD 990 as I work to "refresh" it. I am not trying to do a full restoration, but I am trying to bring it back to full operating potential and make it look decent. This tractor will be earning its keep once it gets done.

Down to the frame
The frame is almost bare.
The front axle, and all hydraulic components came out this week.
Next the rear end/pump assembly was removed.
Then these pins had to be removed to get the dash tower side panels off.
Man, you'll have this thing looking and running great in time for the Salem Power Days!
