Here is the journey of my 1977 MTD 990 as I work to "refresh" it. I am not trying to do a full restoration, but I am trying to bring it back to full operating potential and make it look decent. This tractor will be earning its keep once it gets done.

Pulled the Motor
Got the motor off. Next step is to continue stripping parts off the frame.
In the photo the motor has been set back on the frame sideways to drain the oil. That 16hp cast iron motor is heavy.
